A Hidden Gem

This place is a wonderful hidden gem in Cape Charles! The seafood is fresh, the prices are reasonable, and the owners are kind and personable. I live in Norfolk and will now travel over the CBBT just to get their seafood.

Get the Best Price

Staying at Cherrystone campground up the road, we were having a hard time finding a good seafood resturant. This year A1 Seafood put up a post on the campground facebook page and we decided to go. GLAD we did. The staff are so sweet and food was delicious!!! We loved it so much we went back the next night. Staff helped us put together exactly what we wanted and worked it so we would get the best price. They even steam your food so you don't have too. When we come back to Cherrystone this will be a must stop!!!

Definitely 1st Class A1

This shop is 1st rate. As the name implies it is definitely 1st class A1!!!

We were traveling in our motor home and were looking to find fresh blue crabs. We found A1 by chance and went in.

The owner (a very friendly guy who keeps an immaculately clean shop) offered to steam our dozen fresh crabs. He also included a few ears of corn which were as fresh as the crabs. Next time we are in the area we will definitely head right there. I highly recommend this store and give it a 5 out of 5 above rating!!!!
